Jinnah and Justice
Quaid-e-Azam
“I shall always be guided by the principles of justice and fair play without any, as is put in the politica language, prejudice or ill-will; in other words, partiality or favouritism. My guiding principle will be justice and complete impartiality, and I am sure that with your support and co-operation, I can look forward to Pakistan becoming one of the greatest Nations of the world“
(Mr. Jinnah's presidential address to the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan August 11, 1947)

Message From Chairman
Mr. Tauqeer Aslam
As Chairperson of the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue of Pakistan, I oversee a quasi-judicial institution handling appeals on direct and indirect taxes, ensuring impartial and swift justice. Our orders are final, with appeals to the High Court only for substantial legal questions.
Launching the ATIR website broadens our outreach to taxpayers, the Revenue Department, and the wider community, providing easy access to information about our functions, benches, judicial and accountant members, and more.
I commend the committee for developing this taxpayer-friendly website, confident that its comprehensive content will serve the public well. I anticipate further innovations in this regard
